Oulu is a beautiful seaside summer city where the sun shines until late into the evening.
Our Icelandic horses live in a small stable in Virpiniemi and we organise riding trips to the countryside for all those who love riding.
Issikas are sweet and charming horses, but despite their small size, they are strong, tough and sure-footed. The Icelandic horse is often mentioned in Icelandic sagas; in ancient times they were used as war horses for the Vikings and were highly respected.
The special feature of the Issika is the characteristic töltti, where the rider sits as if in an armchair.
The fuse is worth experiencing!
No previous experience is necessary, as our kind and gentle horses will take even first-timers safely into the forest on their backs.
